JOAN COOPER: Delmarva author focus on strong heroines in her Lilac Hill series
JOAN COOPER is a Delmarva author who has penned the Lilac Hill series. She is an English teacher at James M. Bennett Senior High School as well as a sponsor and promoter of the Brown Box Theater, a group that offers free Shakespeare plays to Delmarva residents. Her Lilac Hill trilogy centers on strong women working with modern day issues and is comprised of three novels: Finding Home at Lilac Hill, Return to Lilac Hill, and finally Lilac Hill Folly.
